Just recieved Panasonic cr-srt100 today, and found a small insert in the booklet saying that an "ALC" is required. Anyone know anything about this?

I also have experienced the same problem. Very frustrating, I have stumped panasonic, circuitcity and most local car audio shops. Where in the world do you get an ALC module?

The ALCC Module plugs into the Sirius Satellite Reciever Box and the Sirius Antenna plugs into it. I "believe" the ALC stands for Automatic Level Control. I remember getting some of the SRT-100's in and they did not have this module inside of the box after talking with the rep, he had some sent to us.

There is no part number on the module but the black module is about 1 3/8" wide by 2 1/2" long and 3/4" thick. It has the two antenna plugs on the one end (one curry color and the other a green color) and then on the opposite end there are two blue cables coming out that are about 12" long and on the ends of those there are a white and blue plug. The antenna plugs into the curry and green plug while the blue and white plug into the reciever box

Should read "The ALC module" (fat finger typing mistake).
