if you have a switch on the brake to show when its up or on, you should be able to use that switch...if not you may be able to use a pin switch so that it will ground out like your hood pin switch so that it wont start...
Good Luck

You might run into a problem with your alarm thinking your "hood" is open. It might false or not arm properly. Try using the relay to cut the start wire output of the CS-2015FM if the brake is not up. That way if the relay isn't activated by the brake being up the power to the start wire will never get there.

Hey, if you haven't figured it out yet, email me at mattthew278@aol.com, put alarm or something in the subject so I won't delete it.  I also installed a crimestopper into a manual transmission, using the Hood pin wire.  I can tell you exactly what I did.

take neg shutdown wire to starter and in console of car where the e brake is under the plastics you will see the manual switch there tie it in and diode isolate it to stop feedback--

most remote start units have a negative shut down wire that you run to a toggle switch then ground it.  then, most of the time the e-brake has a wire that gets a ground signal when the lever is pulled to turn on the dash warning light... find if thats + or - (might need a relays) but just run that toggle switch wire through it in series, then to ground.

I WOULD JUST USE THE NEGATIVE OUT ON THE E BRAKE TO TRIP A RELAY AND BRAKE CONNECTION ON THE STARTER WIRE IF IT IS NOT SEEING THE GROUND
