I bought a crimestopper alarm system for my truck a while back, and the only complaint I have is that the remotes are pretty crappy.  I dropped one and the case came open, and it's trashed.  So with only one remote remaining, I got online and found a product called the "Autobahn Remote Control Duplicator".  The add claimed it worked with pretty much every alarm on the market. So anyway, I bought two of them.  The directions say to face the Autobahn remote at my remote, and hold both #1 buttons, and the Autobahn LED should flash 3 times indicating that it duplicated the security code of my remote.  I tried to do this with my crimestopper remote, and my factory toyota remote.  The LED on the autobahn remote never flashed 3 times.  I was hoping someone might have had some experience with these.  Any input would be appreciated.  Hopefully I didn't just throw away $60 on something that won't work.

"Just place your existing remote next to the Universal Autobahn remote and press the alarm keys. Then all you have to do is match the frequencies.", thats according to one website selling them.

Does the remote led flash at all when you push any botton? Perhaps the batteries are dead?  I just bought  a remote start/keyless combo with this remote and it flashed right out of the box, however I'm having trouble with the lock (brain/module) portion of the kit.
