Does anybody know where I can get relay socket terminals? These are brass uninsulated female spade terminals with the little tang that locks it in when you push it into the socket. I got a whole bunch of relays with sockets and the sockets were prewired for a car security system in sets of three. Some of the sockets have only four wires in them so I would like to put the other wire in and make some of the existing ones longer without putting a butt connector in.

Hello,
When I wire relays I alway use fully insulated females. This way you can wire them anyway you want and there is no bare terminal to short. I hate prewired sockets. You can get these from any store that sells electrical supplys.

I agree, I hate pre-socketed relays, it just makes them bigger and harder to hide. Just use insulated females and tape the relay afterwards.
