question about a amp

Is there any way to hook up a mono channel amp to, 2 single coil subs??

Their sure is. How many  ohms stable is your amp, and how many ohms are your subs? DETAILS PEOPLE lol.

I have a rockford 301m, it is 900 Watts Peak/Max 150 Watts RMS(it says this online, but at home it says it is 300 watts RMS??), 150 x 1 @ 4 ohms, 300x1 @ 2 ohms.  My subs are 2 10" Pioneers.  They are TS-W29C they have a ohm rating of 4.  Im not at home right now so I can't look at the box so I am getting all the info online.  Here are the subs I have http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_4059_38285_tab=B,00.html?compName=PNA_ProductDetailComponent

Is there a reason why CAN is in all caps? I had them run in parallel already, but I blew one sub.  I took it to Best Buy and they said that the amp couldn't handle the way I had it set up....If someone could answer why that happened thanks...

Turn around and run away, hurry Best Buy man is catching you. You have a mono sub amp that is designed and engineered to operate at a 2 ohm mono load, thus two 4 ohm subwoofers wired in parallel will indeed work with your amp. Here is the way it should have been wired for you, double check the wiring.

Wiring Option #1

If you blew a sub, chances are that the gain on the amp was too high, or a bass boost was too high. A sub does not blow on it's own. Chances are that your other sub is not far behind.  A su blows when the voice coils cannot cool down, be it from excessive and consistent volume levels, running the amp out of clean power (clipping) - this causes the amp to produce a distorted signal that the speaker will reproduce until it fails. It takes time to blow a sub, it generally does not happen right away. Best Buy guy could not have been any further away from the truth. If you need more info please post it up.

Hey thanks for the help, I will try it out this weekend, hopefully everything works fine.  I do have the warranty so I can just get a new sub if I accidently mess it up...lol.
