Hi

In my car ( Honda accord 92 ) the dome light is not working when I open the door but the red light in the door is working.

I checked the dome light it self it is working ok.

I found the wire BLACK/ White (-)   Above Hood Release Brown Connector and if I connected it to the (-) the dome light work.

Can you please help me.

Check your pin switch to see if the spring has calapsed or is stuck in the off position. If so, go get a new one installed.

The problem is not the pin switch.

In this car you can see on the dashboard each door if it is open and this function is working ok for all the doors but the dome light is not working. I think it has an electronic circuit (diodes) for this function but I don’t know where is the circuit.
