Hey guys

need your help - a buddy of mine installed a clifford 7000 on my car last year and after about two months there was a little glitch - neither the clifford remote nor the internal button would pop the trunk... I can hear the relay if i use the OEM remote but i can not hear the relay when i use the clifford.

Now the strange thing is when the trunk stopped working last year i was with a guy who had the same system installed (by the same installer) and when he opened his trunk mine started working again (yes they are on the same channel)

any thoughts on how i can fix this (everything else works as it should) or does anyone know a Clifford tech line i could call

Thanks

Sounds funny. May want to re-check those wires. He may need to wire up a relay off of the RED / white wire on the alarm brain. Some times you won't need to but when the current draw is more than that wire you need to.

I agree with the previous reply.  I had a similar problem, but the OEM still worked and the alarm stopped working.  What is the make, model, and year of your vehicle?

I would check out the alarm remote and the alarm and make sure that there both sending out a signal. I would just do a recheck of everything.
