I am currently driving a 1999 Dodge Dakot Sport reg cab.  I want to put in Power Windows and Locks. However before i do so i need to tie up some loose ends with a few questions for you "pros" out there!!

1.)  I am looking for a Power Lock Kit for 2 Doors and NOT Central Locking.  I really want to have the switches.  I'll tell ya why later in this post.

2.)  I am also loking for a nice Power Window Kit for again 2 doors/windows with 3 switches.  Two for my side to control both and one for the passenger to ctrl theirs.

Does anyone have any GOOD ercomendations for kits and where i can get them at the best price??  The reason i want the switches for the locks is that i am looking into getting ahold of the FACTORy switches from a salvage yard and want to figure a way to wire my kit to those OEM switches to keep the stock look.  Firstly is this possible?

Thanks for ANY help you guys can offer!  Thanks a ton!

In my opinion The best way to do it is to find a junkyard car, and strip it of it's doors. Then just swap the guts, and run wires. If you can find one with the same door panels as yours, you'll have factory switches in the right places. Buy the electrical manual for your vehicle, so you know where to connect up the wires without removing the junk cars main harness.

SPAL has a good aftermarket power window kit....pick out the switch kit that you like and your off and running....you can still go with the CDL dook lock and use the switch setup.........SPAL also has the door lock kits......you can still use the factory switches with the aftermarkiet parts
Good Luck
