Hello I just found a good site http://www.robotstore.com

I am wondering if it would be wise to check out the Javelin Stamp kit it has quite a few features and seems quite versatile.I will be going over the inputs needed to manipulate the ac/heating sys this weekend.I will post what I find . I was also thinking that  I may want to incorporate more uses for the Javelin Stamp to control, but I will keep those ideas in the back of my head for now and focus on the current challenge.

Also check out the voice recon circuit in the robotstore catalog, seems better then the one from jameco,am I mistaken?

heh, well if you know what you are doing...ie know how to design the interface network using combintorial logic and know how to wire it on bread board or whatever.  Also detailed knowledge of each system you are interfacing is important too, and any additional motors or whatever you have to install in order to get the system to work (ie if it is not already electroncially controlled).  I said in an earlier post that I have done stuff like this before, just not in cars.
