Hi I have a sterio (looks like the one it came with) in a 98 chevy Malibu.

It gets some FM stations in and AM radio doens't come in at all just alot of noise.

Where should I troubleshoot from this?  Is is an Antenna problem, radio problem?

 thanks for any ideals.

Temporarily plug in an aftermarket antenna to the factory radio and make sure you ground the base of the antenna and see if the reception gets better.  That will tell you if it is the antenna or the radio.
