is this a crazy idea?

My dual zone shock sensor isn't being sensitive enough even when turned to its max, so I am thinking of putting more than 1 in my car, maybe 4 of them, one above each wheel. Is that a worthwhile idea or a crazy one? thanks, Mark

Have you tried to change the location of the shock sensor? I had many times problems with shock sensors adjusted to maximum , and every time it helped to change the spot. I suggest also to strip it tight with a cable binder on a solid piece of metal under the dash, I bet it will help.Damn cold here ...

and no it's not a crazy idea.... i've done installs myself on large cargo vans and RV's with 2 and 3 impact/shock sensorsKevin Gerry

 have u tried the steering column. this is one of the most sensitive places on the car.u should be covered from glass breakage and should your car be subject to wheel theft, boom u got em.  honda 4 life

thanks a lot guys. I will try it. I have three dual zone sensors, but I will try the steering wheel next before going crazy. I did tie it to a metal piece under the dash, beside the glove box with those plastic ties as tightly as I could. The only problem with the steering wheel is it gets very difficult to turn the little sensor adjustment screws. I guess I'll have to twist my hands and elbows like pretzels to adjust it on the steering column but that seems to be the only good option left. Thanks a lot for all the help and suggestions. Mark
