Hope you guys can help me out here.....had a autostart 2510tw put in my truck with the by-pass modul being a PL2003.  Now here is the issue.  It will start fine first try......start in the am..but now it has stopped working.  And the Passlock locks up in the truck.  We have tried three different starters...could there be a problem with the bypass module??

You'll probably have to wire the 555L differently than the conventional Passlock II wiring diagram. DEI's wiring info for the Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon pickups says to call their tech support for instructions on hookup.
I would suggest calling AutoStart's tech support to see what they have on the Colorado/Canyon. It doesn't sound like an issue with the starter brain - more likely with the Passlock interface, since that controls the start and the second ignition.

Get the PLXR for this truck. It's worked on all the trucks that we've installed.

The ones that I worked on were PKII. The PLXR doesn't work on PKIII vehicles. Just remember that I'm in Canada as well and there are differences in the vehicles that come up here.

This is a PKII...we tinkered with it again last night....w/o putting in the DEI...worked great again..all night and even this am...and now, like every other day, it has just stopped working again.  I think he has a DEI coming in.  I will let him know to call DEI tech support...as he agreed that it is NOT the same wiring as the Saturn Ion.   Is this a common error with the PKII??

I thought these trucks were Passlock II, but the white and WHITE/ black wires that do the Passlock resistance also control the starter, 2nd ignition, and keysense. That's the only way I meant it was like the Ion, but DEI does have a directfax document on doing a Saturn Ion and they don't say to use it for the Colorado/Canyon, so I'd assume the wiring's different enough.

wire it up like an ion or 04 malibu.

You are better off using an old school dip switch-cut the data wire style for these....
