chirp sounds differnt from 2 cars

both cs2000

both 1990-1993 acura integra

my borthers chrip is manly and my chirp is pussyish

beep.......

sounds like the siren my be bad....or see if there is a blk loop wire that i scut on your brothers siren....if it is cut then cut yours...

black loop wire?where can i find that?

i know that there are 2 wires coming from the siren....RED / black...BOth were install by the same person.....

Look at the back of the siren itself. This should be facing upwards to keep water and the likes from collecting in the front. There will be a small black wire towards the bottom of the back of the unit. Though this may be your problem, I have found that generally that exists to lessen the magnitude of the volume, not amplify it. ...but don't take my word for it, worst thing that happens you reconnect it if it does indeed make it less in volume. Make sure that your ground(s) are clean connections. This means using sandpaper to remove any funk or paint, and then a quick scrubbing with water, soap if you like. You would be surprised at how much the ground can affect it things, have to remember that it is just as important as the other half of the equation!

the 1 ground point used for alarm is ok..

there is a relay there

my installer crimped 4 black wires.......3 goes to relay 1 goes to the ground point

is that ok?

my Engine ground from Valve cover is very loose tho...

might that be the problem?

just used 4ag groound wire for valve cover....

Try and go directly to ground, easiest way to check if the relay is the problem. If you can, get another siren to borrow and then try it. If it doesn't work any better, you know your siren is not the problem. I have an old siren from an old alarm that works as loud as a new one. You can have it for free if you would like, just pay the shipping from 23454 to your zip code. I have secure payment methods (PayPal) in case you don't want to risk getting shafted sending me a money order. I think USPS is cheapest, unless you have some special with the private carriers. woah thanks for the offer but iam returnng both to crimestopper for replacements...

sending them my brain, and siren...

is it ok to drive with the all wires not connected to a Alarm module?

but its still hanging there so i can do a easy fast swap!

Just make sure you contain them from one another, otherwise....oops, you might find yourself replacing fuses and door lock motors, possibly. Endless possibilities as to what could happen, including having a theif see a pretty, thick starter wire and another pretty, thick +12v wire, bam - your cars MIA.

You wouldn't leave your dog out in the cold because it would be easier to just fed him outside and let him crap in the yard versus letting him out everytime he wanted to go, or would you? :p
