rf amps are actually relativly stable at 1ohm i have 2 dvc 15s hooked up 2 1 bd500 into a 1ohm load and it pounds nice wit no probs...

if it's just getting "pretty dang warm" i would not worry about it. if it gets pretty damn hot then start worring. get that fan if it bothers you, but do like DYohn said make sure your power wires don't mess with your signal.
