Any suggestions on amps for two of these beasts?
Shop had just installed a pair of the same running of a Crossfire 2000D each.
That's 2345w @ 14.4 volts each.Eclipse Titaniums SW9152 - Last Post -- posted image.

do not get mrd-1000, no offense to anyone, i like alpine, but i think those digial amps are weak, they don;t put out much power, i have used the mrd-1000's and the 500, both times i brought them back to get somehting with some power, i think there more geared towards sq, they won;t make your subs play loud, if you can get an amp that will run 2 ohm, get like a memphis mojo, 2400 rms at 2 ohm, or if they can be run at 1 ohm, get a couple of memphis 1000d's, there really powerful amps, and they don't cost a lot, about the same as an alpine

I hate to say it, but, this is probably the route I will take since I already have one JL1000/1.
Unless someone could give me recommendations on some more amps that would stay below the $700 mark
two amps - need to be around 1200w x 1 @ 2 ohms each.
or one amp that could reach 2200w-2500w x 1 @ 1 ohm

Concept CD2410 (2410 watts rms @ 1 ohm mono), Orion 2500D. I would head along the one amp route as it would make it way easier to set the system up, less real estate taken up for amps, less wiring, usually less current draw, and then the wow factor, you did that with one amp?
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

I wouldnt recomend the concept just based on the fact that there is a shop in my town that sells them and I have seena lot of the grenade when they are actually called apon to deliver. I personally like the orion option but if you all ready have one JL1000/1 you may as well get one more because it will be the most cost effective way to get the most power

Thanks all for the input, keep the suggestions coming.
I did find the Orion 2500D for about the same price as I could get the JL 1000/1 for.
So I am now leaning on the Orion 2500d.
Maybe later, don't really want to, I can sell my stock.
