I am going to add heated mirrors to one of my medium duty truck, I would like to add a timer to this so that they are not on the entire time the truck key is on, or when you flip a switch and forget it's on.

How would I configure this, and what would I need?

Wiring is easy on this truck.

I'm no expert to this, but what about connect it to the defrost of your vehicle, that way when you turn defrost on, it heats the mirrors?  I don't know if its possible, just a thought
