All you need to do is go to the fuse box and plug a wire in with a male uninsulated speaker terminal to the BAT terminal. It's fused and very easy to access.

any wire will work for that as long as its not higher than 16 gauge or so

what if the wire is 18 gauge. my speaker wire doesnt say what it is but i think it is 18
