I was just wondering which car alarm system brand offers the most options for a decent price and is of high quality. It's been so long since I've looked into them - if you have any advice it is welcomed.

Alpine & Compustar along with Viper systems are my top 3 choices for alarm systems. Just make sure that it is installed properly otherwise it doesn't matter how good the alarm is if the installation sucks.

Omega products are also very nice. all of the Excalibur, Crime Guard, and K-9 systems are just as well made and much more affordable than some of the other brand names. Actually, they all come off of the same assembly line as DEI products and have just as many features as well as some patented security features that are not available from other products. Just my $.02 :)
