remote start a car with a vats system?

hi i was trying to see if it is a eazy to to remote start a car with a vats system ...i was told read the resistance on the key and put the same resistance between the two white wires ?

yes its quite easy the wires should be in a n orange type covering but if you follow them to the end they turn into solid colors

Use a relay to introduce the correct resistor into the circuit during remote start. If you put the resistor across the wires, the car won't start with the key unless you cut the wires and splice the resistor in permanently. You would be better to save the VATS system through the use of a relay powered by negative out when running and ignition (Terminals # 85 and #86) Cut one of the small white wires and connect the key side to terminal 87a, terminal 30 to the other cut wire (car side) splice the resistor between terminal 87 and the uncut white wire.

did this on my fireird 100x easier than i thought it woulda been.
