i recently bought a kendwood kdc-x711 HU from a vendor at a swap meet in daytona.

being new to the car audio scene i didnt know that there would be a code required to be entered.

does anyone know how to reset, bypass, or disable the code.

If so please email me at saxman125@hotmail.com

i read the other post that was on the forum, but mine doesnt have a remote

any help is greatly appreciated

Thank You

can you give me an idea as to where it would be located at.

i looked under the flip down face and everything and this is no button that i can press.

would it be inside the actual metal housing?

any other ideas?

the closest thing to that i found was a small push button that i had to push with a pick at the lower right hand corner of the faceplate when it was lowered.

the only thing that it did was interrupt power to the radio or something like that, but as soon as i released it it came back saying that it still needed a code

i dont know if that was it, but i cant find any other pin size holes

any othe rideas?

i really want to hear my system again :(
