I wanted to install a Alpine sec-100s car alarm into a 1995 Nissan 240sx, and I had a few questions. This car has a stock anti-theft car alarm, and I was wondering is it better to just disconnect power going into this OEM Nissan brain and run the wires from the alpine brain to the wires (power locks, hood pin, trunk pin) going to the OEM alarm brain? Or should I leave the Nissan OEM alarm powered(on) and just run the wires from the Alpine alarm to the OEM brain? Also where is the Nissan OEM brain located? Could I please get the wire colours for window roll-up as well?
Sincerely Yours,
Ricky

I noticed your comments regarding the wiring of 240sx Power window amp.

I own a 1995 Nissan 240sx and recently my drivers side power window switch broke. And of course the window was stuck down!..anyways I attempted to get the window up, using the wires at the switch..Unsuccessful, blew fuse in engine compartment. I replaced the fuse and got a another switch installed, but the drivers window will not go up. All other functions of the switch are working. The passenger window, power locks and the safety lock feature. When I attempt to engage the drivers side window, I hear the power window amp clicking, but window does not go up. Any clue on what I am missing? Could I have damage the power window amp?

ANy advice would be greatly appreciated..

thanks

I would like to know this as well, how to bypass the factory system or incorporate it together on this car?
