hey i recently bypassed a navigation system and added video signal to watch dvds on the screen, the video works fine only problem is when the customer switches to navigation the screen looks all crazy with lines and what not going  through it.  he says when he left it worked(he thinks).   any ideas please... is there a seperate naviagtion brain to reset or something.

There is probably something wrong with the shielding where you spliced into the feed. Check there first. Also there should be a reset somewhere on the nav, if you can't find it just pull the fuse.
