I have a 2003 VW GTI.

I have a power antenna adapter so I can connect an aftermarket radio (Eclipse) to my factory antenna. The adapter has a blue lead.

Should I connect that Blue lead to the blue lead on the Metra harness? Or to the Blue lead coming out of the Eclipse?

Actually, the blue lead from your antenna adapter should be connected to the blue lead from your Eclipse HU, do not connect it to you factory harness.

Do it right the first time

Thanks man, I have no idea why Metra includes that in our adapter :/

I will wire directly to HU and not hookup harness blue lead, thanks man!
