Ok, I've got the regular red LED coming out of the unit... and of course it blinks... i want to change that one red LED to 4 (in series) green LED's...

Each green LED is 3.6 Volt at 20mA a piece...     so how do i hook them upto the alarm unit?   do i use a small relay or what?

THANKS!!!!!!!

Hey TheRapture,

Usually if the module controls the LED's then they are wired in series anode to cathode.  This configuration is easier on the LED's drivers.  There are LED's that aren't controled by the module that when connected to pos and neg 12V they blink,  these types are connected in parallel.  Wiring LED's - Last Post -- posted image.

well i'm just looking at regular LED's that stay on all the time when you connect them to a voltage...

so putting the 4 in series will be OK and not fry my brain because of so much current draw... and they will still blink???
