if i need a relay can i just hook the horn output to the relay under the hood

to be safe id attach the wire before the horn relay. are the air horns running off that relay also?? if so the compressor might be a bit much with both going at once.

well, if he's got the air horn to work with his standard horn switch (in the steering wheel), then just hook it up like a normal horn, straight off the horn wire. The relay is there so that after the (-) is given by the horn switch, it turns on the relay thus powering the air horn through pins 30 and 87.
just, everytime his alarm goes off , watch out!!! its gonna be loud! Horn Relay? -- posted image.

P.S. If your wondering where to wire it up at, make sure its before the relay, not after.
