I'm tryin to figure out which components would be better. I have heard good things about both but I just want to know your guys opinion. I am looking at the 6.5 inch es model components from cdt. I do not no the comparable model from diamond but it would have to be one of the top one's.

They are both good brands.  Buy the ones that sound the best to your ears.  Do a side-by-side comparison with the same music if you can.

I own a pair of diamond audio 600s components and the highs are so crisp and clean.  They are expensive but well worth the money.

I have a set of Kicker RS6's and they are absoluty awsome. But between the two you are talking, I've heard a pair of the Diamond Audio, They sounded ok, Only problem was that they where being pushed by a crappy amp. So unfair compamision. Use you best judgement.
