Adding power locks to a matrix

looking for ideas to add power locks to a toyota matrix. it has a cable system and it looks as though the plastic would break if you tryed to drill it out a bit bigger.
any ideas would be great..

not sure what a matrix is, but we get alot of probs with the 100 series cruiser over here.has cables for the central lock instead of rods. can be done with a fitting kit, but I dont do it,(it took a quallified auto electrician 2 days to fit it up.and it still had probs. the factory GXL has the central lock but fiting this system costs an arm and a leg and 3 balls.
