Ok I purchased a viper 690 and had it installed by the shop but now their having the problem because when you arm the viper and then disarm it and open the doors it sets off the factory alarm and also when you put the car in drive normally it will lock all the doors but now with the viper it locks the doors and then unlocks them...anyone know what this problem could be...my installer is going to call viper tommorow...

ur factory alarm setting off:
ur factory automatically arms itself, but the viper doesnt disarm the factory alarm b4 opening the door.
solution:
---run a wire from viper, disarm, to the factory disarm wire. this will disarm the viper and the factory at the same time.
door lock:
try setting the viper ignition control off. ur car has built-in speed rate door lock control, meaning at 10-20 mph the door will lock automatically.
