Ok, here's the deal. Got an amp/sub installed in an 04 grand am. Well i hooked the turn on lead to the ign. lead and it comes on, but there's a really bad wurring noise. Could this be a bad ground or what?   I tried moving the ground wire, but it still has it. Any suggestions on what i can do to fix this?

Is your power cable next to your rca cables going to your amp? This can cause interference. I've also heard that sometimes if you use the ign. lead for turn on lead for your amp you get interference. Try jumping a cable directly from your turn on lead terminal on your amp to the power cable going into your amp.

I'm using the high input instead of the low level input, also tried jumping a wire from the positive to remote on and it still gets the interference.   This is the 1st time i ever came across a situation like this. Usually i just install the amp running off an aftermarket deck and not the OEM.

Try using an LOC instead of the high level inputs and see if you still get interference.
