whining noise when car is on

for some reason there is a whining noise in my system when the car is on and i press the accelarator it whines more and more i already checked my grounds and they are short and screwed on to an unpainted surface. can you guys help me out with this problem

This is caused by many possible problems, but the common ones are: ground issues, bad RCA cables, poor ground on head unit, bad speaker wires, speaker wires touching ground, problems in the car's electrical system, bad spark plug wires, bad ignition coil, cracked distributor cap, bad engine ground strap or battery ground cable, corrosion in your ground connections, poorly shielded amplifier (ie a cheap one), EMI or RFI induction into the speakers due to speaker placement, and mismatched pre-amp voltages such as a head unit that produces 4 volts feeding an amp that can only handle 2 volts.  You have one of the hardest problems to nail down, byt be methodical and only try one thing at a time until you find it.  Good luck.Support the12volt.com
