Is there anywhere I can find information on how to build the perfectly tuned ported boxes for different sub manufacturers and possibly find info on best ports for different car applications?

Well...  They say you can never get a perfect bandpass... You're always looking for a compromise of bandwith and efficiency.

Manufacturers usually have an optimal bandpass for their subs.  If you know the T/S parameters for your sub, you can use a program like WIN ISD  ( http://www.linearteam.dk/). You should  donate if you're going to use it! They made a great app!
