if it's not paging back it could be an antenna or even a bad alarm brain. Just go back to wherever you got the system and see if you can try another antenna.

turn the paging mode on
to tell if its on, look at the top of the LCD to see if the paging icon comes on every 30 sec or so... if it does the paging mode is on, if not its off.

we had a a few cars come back with that problem and honestly, try unplugging both ends of the antenna and then just plugging them back in.  its work on 3 or 4 cars.

Maybe your transmitter is going bad. I've seen many of the 790 transmitter start wiggin out for no apparent reason. Best thing to do is replace it with a 791 transmitter.

dei has a recall on the 790 remotes but a quick fix sometimes is to un plug the antenna in the car then plug it back in

were did you stick the antenna? If you placed the antenna in the center top of the windshield like it says on the instruction booklet do not I repeat DO NOT stick it onto the windshield because the windshield in due time will act as a magnifing glass  depending if the weather is super hot. try hidding it behind the a-pillar or high up under dash on the dash itself. I had this same problem the antenna internal part fryed.
