Has anyone installed a remote start alarm in a 2001 5 series BMW?  I was looking at the wiring diagram for the 5 series and for the ignition it says that ignition wire is green (x3).  Do I hook up all three greens?  And how do I do it if I need to hook up all three.  Also for the parking lights, its says that I need to use a relay  to interupt the wire to flash the parking lights.  Does anyone have the Directfax document 1055?  Thanks for any help.

yes you hook up all three ignition wires. depending on the remote start unit you are installing you should have atleast 2 ignition ouputs on the unit, then simply use an additional relay to power up the other ignition circuit on the car.

I am installing the rs2 for the car.  The car's wiring diagram shows the ignition as 3 green wires.  And the second ignition as purple.  So basically there is 4 ignition wires.  How do I hook up a relay for this?
