How would you wire relay(s) to extend or retract a hydraulic motor, controlled by a momentary three way toggle switch?
1 Hydraulic Motor:     2 leads need to alternate polarity to extend/retract
1 Toggle Switch:     3 position (up,down, center), returns to center when released
? Relays:          Not sure how many or how to wire
Thanks in advance.

Easy, assuming it is a three wire toggle and the hydraulic motor is self contained (no pumps to mess with). Wire the switch to pass a ground. Then wire relays like this diagram.

The lock and unlock inputs (labeled as alarm (-) lock/unlock output) will be the in and out wiring from the toggle switch. Then the lock and unlock outputs will go to the motor's wiring. This will make both wires ground at rest and when you move the toggle switch to extend the motor it will send power to the wire that moves the motor out. When you move the toggle switch retract the motor in it will send power to the wire that moves the motor in.
