I have heard the 2 way version a few times and even though they were not installed correctly they still sounded pretty nice. Well i just picked up a set of the 3 way fanatics and though im the only one to judge thier sound in my appication i just wanted to know what you all thought on these. If your a rockford bashher please dont make pointless replies, i am just curious what others thought.

They're decent components.  A little harsh for my taste, but if you like their sound then rock and roll!

The fanatic p components have a very metallic sound with minimal mid bass. They also have crossovers that are known to go bad very quickly.  The fanatic Q are much improved and have better mid bass along with cleaner tweater response.

Interesting about the xovers, hopefully i wont have any problems. These are the fnq3146 so they are the Qs not the Ps. Im gonna also have a 6.5" sub right next to the RF mid bass for a little more mid bass so im not too worried, i cant wait to get them installed.

i tend to find rockford components have tweeters that are a bit too sharp for my taste. sounds really cool when first installed, but after a while i tend to find myself wanting to turn down the treble because it gets annoying after a while.
