Pioneer 6500 DVD Install Help

Last night I was trying to install the Pioneer 6500 In dash DVD Player All Wire Connected but not the Green Parking Brake Wire Because I wasnt on this board before and reading all the information So Without Connecting the Green Wire / Hand Brake Wire I rush to connected the Red / Power Wire and the whole Unit Works I am so excited , the unit has power, it has screen but only showing the blue Meue main page , but until I found out , I cannot watch any DVD , only can hearing the sound , it said " Attention , you cannot view any movie without the parking brake switich off " So I know I need to Ground the Green Wire now But Problem is .. Without connecting the green wire , i tried to put in a CD and a Mp3 Disc , It doesnt work , it said Error Reading Disc , Why is it this happen ????? How come i cannot listen any CD ? hey I put the DVD in it works . it has no screen but it has sound . How come it cannot read CD or Mp3 disc ? is it related to the Green Wire ? I dont know if it is a defected Unit ? Do I have to exchange another unit ? or is it becoz I dont have the Green wire connected so it doesnt work ? I am so worry about it now . PLEASE HELP

try grounded the green (hand brake) wire, that should allow you to play cd's or mp3.The Clear Bra Guy
