This is going into a Sport Trac so hopefully that explains the enclosure design. I'm going to use an Image dynamics ID10D4 V.3. I currently have an enclosure under the rear seat which accomodates about .5 cubes and 5" mounting depth, but I can't put down the seat back. This design would give me more air space and use an area of the truck which is pretty much useless otherwise. The idea is to use mdf and fiberglass. I'm wondering if angle-ing the woofer towards the passenger wall, rather than straight out would have any advantages or disadvantages, as this would give the bass something to reflect off of.
Also would there be any real downsides to having something of a tube that is shaped this way? As per ID I'm shooting for about .8 cubes and with the approximated dimensions I'm using this is accomplished and still leaves room for mounting my amp behind the seats.
Lets hear the critiques, not on my photoshop skills (or lack there of) but on the concept I'm planning.

At 35 inches wide this is a 0.8 CUFT enclosure before taking woofer and bracing displacement into account.  Net will be around 0.75 or so. the ID10D4 V.3 should be fine in that size.  Give it about 175 watts RMS.

DYohn, you don't see any issues with the sub not firing forward but rather angled toward the passenger side of the car?

As long as it fits, none.
