DEI -554R Valet alarm?

anyone use the new 544R alarm remote start from DEI yet. what you think of it and how is the installation. i looked up the manual and it seems it has more wires and connects to be made than a regualar remote start and alarm.. just let me know what you guys think

Nope have not had a chance to get to that one...im still installing old ones untill i can get rid of them, with it being it summer its gonna be hard...

its like any other DEI unit.
theres a lot of options on the units so you wont use all of them.
a buddy of mine have the hornet 554t, similar to it but yours is valet 554r and it works out great. the price for the units are pretty fair.

its a quick easy install actually... should take you 1-2 hours

what do you guys think of the autopage RS-850
or the avital avistart 4400??
i like both of the features in those alarms

personal preference...i've had bad experiences with Autopage and their reliability, so we dont sell them any more... but like i keep saying...if it's what YOU want... buy it....     maybe they have worked out their reliability problems...it's been a few years now.....
