I'm about to put in an Autopage 850.

Got a few questions:

1)  I decided not to hook up the remote start.   How do I NOT hook up remote start?  I assume some of the wires of the RS plug still need to be hooked up.   BTW, can I still use the stop and go feature where I take my keys out and leave the car running?

2) where is the best place to put the brain?  Would it affect the range of reception, or does it only care about where you put the ANTENNA?

3) Is there a way I can make the dome light supervision power my actual dome lights, but I would like to have the dome light itself in the OFF position all the time?  Just seem to me it won't be able to do it because the dome light master switch is off

1)i can see that ur alarm has been hooked up. so, let me explain the basic of the RS. it consist of:
-starter wire
-ignition(1-2)
-accessory(1-2)
-tachometer sense
-brake shutdown- this let you shut down the RS to let ur key take over.
<<---those are the basic things that will let ur car Remote Start.
as for stop and go feature, am assume that you have a manual tranny so youll need a brake wire.
2)i usually just place them high as possible up the dash.
as for the antenna, try not to crumple the extra wire lengths and keep it straight out. as for the antenna, i place them at teh windshield.
3)let someone else put an input to this, cause iono.
