I just got an 01 Accord and I drove it off the lot and it was fine. On my way to work today the "Side air bag" light came on. It was blinking on and off at first but now its staying on. I dropped the dash on it to look at the alarm someone installed on it before. And they interupted the starter wire right out of the ignition harness which is the wrong place.. Could that be a reason for this or do I need to take it to Honda?

Na did the alarm have a RS on it?

IT could be caused by the immoblizer be triggered if it was not programmed right

Nah it had a RS3 on it. But it doesn't seem to have remote start or even setup for remote start. I thought those alarms had remote start on them. I know it can make your "Check engine" light come on but I didn't know about the air bag light.

Yes, on that vehicle if you interrupt the starter wire in the wrong place it will cause your "Check Engine" and sometimes your airbag lights to illuminate.

Here's one of the tech tips:
HONDA, ACCORD, 2001, Starter
If doing starter kill, must interrupt the wire between the keyswitch and the fusebox, not between the fusebox and the starter, to keep the check engine light from coming on.

Well I'm going to re-do the starter wire now...People really should pay attention to what they are doing. I hate hacks of the car audio install world.
