I am making a speaker grill out of .25 inch acrylic sheet and thought it might look cool if I had some LED accent lights to go with it.  Say 3 LED's (one for each spoke on my grill, see the pic below for crappy diagram) Custom speaker grille -- posted image.positioned at the black dots respectively.  Since you gus are all pros at custom box building I thought I would ask your opinion on if this will look good and maybe whay the best way to wire it up is.  I will just be getting blue, red or yellow (haven't decided yet) round LED's from radio shack and probably runing them off the remote turn on wire for the amp (should work I think and this way they will only be on when the sub is on) for + and a ground for -.  This is for a molded fiberglass 12" sub box in my 95 integra.  I post pics of the box when it is done.   Let me know what you think.

well anyways the LED's would be at the points where the 3 spokes meet the outer ring.

Make sure you cut every few parts of the acrylic, so the light will bounce through it. Heres an example http://students.washington.edu/ashis/Creating%20Custom%20Angel%20Eyes.htm
