02 silverado custom enclosure

hey guys, wassup. got some questions. i'm not very fond of all this new fiberglass boxes or regular boxes. i'm not into the 12volt video audio systems since i was younger in high school. i'm more into the framerailen trucks. anyways i have an 02 silverado and i want to put a custom enclosure between the seat's thinkin of a 10 and a amp. as i was browsin the dude with the 3 door s10 built the box with wooden rings you dont have to actually biuld an enclosure like underneath the fiber glass???? and i kinda have a time limit to work on this project i would likt it to be done b4 may14 because of showfest in greenville mississppi. all i really need to say is NEED HELP

if you make the fiberglassed portion thick enough there is no need for an inner enclosure.
