Giordon G686A Help needed

I recently purchased a Giordon G686A alarm system on Ebay. This was a mistake because the instruction manual is very badly written. It appears to have been translated from chinese using a phrase book. Now it is fitted to my car, everything works fine except that the indicators flash every time I open the door. I presume this is to tell me that the alarm has previously been triggered. The trouble is I don't know how to reset this condition. Does anyone out there know about Giordon alarms, or where I could find out more info?

Hi andrewb >the indicators flash every time I open the door. This model open the door the indicator lights flash every time. This is "Warning for roadside stop" function. This is Normal action.

That'll teach me to buy a cheap alarm! I think I'll put in a relay to disconnect the indicators when the door is open.
