Hello All,

I just installed a Viper 791xv alarm into my car.  Its great!!!  One question, since this is my first time ever installing an alarm, I wanted to know where is the best place to mount the antenna?

As of right now, I have it located right underneath the dash, behind the glove box.  I dont know where the typical place is to mount an antenna, but the wire is very long and I was thinking I could mount it inside my roof.  When I am in my office at work, I do not get any signal whatsoever.  I am not ever that far, although I cant see my car, but whats the point of having a Pager Alarm if you dont know what the status is if your not connected?

Your thoughts and opinions please.
