Hey. I just got a In dash Dvd/cd player(Pyle PLDVD168 In-Dash Mobile DVD/CD Player w/MP3 Playback), along with a in dash motorized monitor (Pyle PLVIN70 7" In-Dash Monitor with LCD Clock Display )  for my 2001 ford f-150.

Now my questions are, in order to install both, will i need an amp to power one of them? and if so  which one should i power through the factory power wires and which one through the amp and how would i go about connecting it to the amp?  and finally what kind of amp does it need to be?

Neither needs an amplifier. The DVD player should have outputs for audio to the speaker's. You can wire both units to the ignition harness for power and ground this to chassis.
