I just posted this but under another question, I guess what I want to know is which setup would be more effective? 2 S10L5's or 4 MTX 8000's? I have a kicker KX 800.2 amp to run them, it pushes 954watts into 2 ohms any help is appreciated

id go  with the mtx's just b/c ud be pushing more airspace than with 2 10l5s i dont know for a fact but im guessing xmax on the 8000 is close to the l5s....

L5 xmax - .45

^^ 450 each

8500 xmax - .85<---couldnt find 8000

^^250 each

so according 2 xmax ^^ the 8000 will hit alot harder....

but the l5 can handle more watts i would say if u dont care about trunk space go with mtx

if u need trunk space l5s the way to go....or possiblly the L7 i have one it hits nearly as hard as the 2 CVRs i had veryy nice.....

also the 8000's are 800max and 400 rms, should I get dvc or single, I was thinking maybe single since there would 4 just wire a pair down to 2 ohms and the other pair to 2 ohms since my amp is 2 channel
