I just installed an autopage rs850 alarm in my 97 jeep grand cherokee. Everything is installed but the power door lock/unlock(need relay)however, I have a problem. The hood ,shock sensor and all the doors are working with the alarm(arming-tripping and disarming)but now the AIR BAG light on the dash stays on, the TURN SIGNALS do not work and the FAN and A/C controls are not working. I double checked all my connections to the ignition wires and did not see a problem , I also disconnected the alarm-still did not help. I think maybe I lost a ground somewhere. I do not have a wiring diagram , but it seems odd that the three items are the only ones not working-and they are not even connected together as far as I know. Any help will be appreciated. I am frustrated.Thanks.Pete

I just installed an Autopage RS850 alarm in my Jeep except the power door lock/unlock switches(need relay) But now my turn signals do not work, the A/C system and Fan does not work and the AIR BAG lights on dash stays on. Everything else works including flashers. I disconnected the alarm to try and isolate the problem and it did not help. I am frustrated. Please help. ThanksPete TYrka

Check for blown fuses or perhaps a connector that you may have accidentally unplugged.

Sound like you blew a fuse during the installation.

Pull out fuse like dome, accessories, radio, window and what not and see if it was blow.

Help! I have an autopage rs850 and am trying to hook-up the door locks. After checking I believe the 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a reverse-polarity system. The autopage has three wires going to the locks-red, blue, and green-where do they wire up to the relays and what outputs of the relays go to the actuators?Your help will be greatly appreciated! Well if you have 2 seperate relays, then just take a look at th erelays section on this website: there is a link on the left column under basics and relays. Then go to door locks (I think).

You are aware that you must go into both the driver's and passenger's door to be able to 5 wire these locks, right? It would probably save you time and a headache to buy a integration module like dei's 455t, seeing your other post this may be too late. Also going back to what you said wasn't working, do your power mirrors work either. If all those things don't then you damaged your bcm, or other computer.
