I got a sub in the back and 6x9's running off seprate amps. Front speakers running off the deck. When I fade my front speakers down it also fades the sub woofer. How do I fade the front ones without fadeing out the sub??

How are your amps hooked up? Do you have 2/3 sets of RCA coming out from your HU? are you running 1 and splitting it, or running one to a crossover?

Sounds like you've got the rca going to sub amp coming from the front speaker or RCA output. Are you using the stock head unit or aftermarket? And like Evil asked....how many sets of rca does you head unit have?
Duane...

You are running the sub amp off the same RCA signal that drives your rear speaker amp.  The only way you can defeat the effect is to install a crossover with a seperate sub output.  Something like an Audio Control DXS or 2XS would work.

If you get a new deck, look for one with a subwoofer "non-fading" pre-out.  To investigate criossovers, go check out the Audio Control web site and then find a dealer in your area.
