Clifford RSX3.5 questions

I had a Cliffird RSX3.5 installed in my 2001 Tahoe today. I have several questions for those of you who are familiar with this alarm.

My truck is set to passively arm and lock the doors. The truck will passively arm and the icon shows the doors as being locked, but, they never lock. If I use the remote to unlock the doors while the truck is armed but never enter the truck, the system will automatically ock the doors and arm the truck. Why is that?

Second question, if I remote start my truck then shut it off with my remote. The radio will continue to play. The radio will normally play until a door is opened. What is needed to make the system think that a door has been opened so the radio will shut off?

Sorry for being long winded but I wanted to give an accurate description of the problems.

I want passive arming and locking, because I want to make sure my truck is secure. I have three video screens, one over head with a built in dvd player $$$$ and two replacement headrest with video monitors more $$$. I always wonder if I have locked up my cars. This way, I know that my truck is locked. If I lock myself out, there is always OnStar. If all else fails, I'll call AAA. I might change my mind later, but for now it passive arming and locking. One of my co-workers forget to lock up his tahoe one night. When he came out the next morning, his $1500 overhead dvd player was gone.

isnt that the idea of a Responder remote?  if you're not sure if you locked your doors look at your remote

but anyway, to each his own... as Jworm said, program ON passive locking and hook up the factory disarm wire to pulse the doorpin on RS timeout.... or relax, and let the RAP circuit shut itself off after 10 minutes.... your call.....
