1984 chevy blazer stereo wiring

i am horrible at car audio... but i cant afford to have someone install my cd player... i found a color key for 1979-current GM. but the colors didnt match up right... i was wondering if someone could tell me for sure.... its a 1984 chevy blazer Tahoe (4x4) thanx J.D.

orange is constant...if there is no orange on the factory unit, go to the orange wire on the cigarette lighter.  Black is ground, yellow is switched ignition, grey is dimmer/illumination.  if it has front and rear speakers, the front left is tan and grey,  front right is dark GREEN/ ligh green,  rear left is a brown and the other yellow, and rear right is light blue and dark blue.  use a test light to test your yellows and greys.....yellow lights up with the key on for switched, and grey  lights up when you turn on your headlights for dimmer.  email me @ dizturbd2@yahoo if ya need some more help.....Kelly10 years and counting....
